The Espace Louis Vuitton München invites you to uncover The Flavor Genome (2016), an emblematic 3D projection by Korean-American artist Anicka Yi that is on display in conjunction with a video by American artist Trisha Donnelly. Both pieces, which belong to the Collection, are on view within the framework of the Fondation Louis Vuitton Hors-lesmurs program.

Through visual montage and the analysis of aromas, both artists examine how sense and perception influence our behavior—what Anicka Yi calls “a biopolitics of the senses.” This exhibition, confronting the complementary oeuvres of the two artists, features intentionally strange and fantastic works focusing on a natural world influenced by new technological and scientific advances.
