Galerie Klüser is a platform for contemporary art founded in 1978. It represents internationally renowned and emerging artists at two exhibition spaces in Munich. Christine König Galerie was founded in 1989 in Vienna and is one of the city’s most important galleries for contemporary art. An active engagement in the art discourse plays an important role in the gallery’s work.

Il Mondo Umano is a comprehensive artistic survey of the human world and the final installment in a trilogy of shows contemplating the “worlds of the world.” It follows on the heels of Il Mondo Botanico and Il Mondo Animale, which featured artistic perspectives on flora and fauna.

In cooperation with Christine König Galerie, Galerie Klüser presents work by photographer Juergen Teller. In his unmistakable style and with a critical eye, Teller stages people and, incidentally, human environments. Together with paintings, drawings, photography, and sculptures by Galerie Klüser artists, an ensemble of works is formed that deals with people and humanity in a variety of ways and reflects the diverse aspects of this subject in contemporary art.
